The Facebook platform is ever-evolving – for someone not constantly working on platform it has proven to be a challenge keeping up with new features & possibilities. That’s why every few months we are trying to give an overview on current developments in our platform briefings. The latest briefing (much like our work in 2012) is focussed on Open Graph / Timeline. The briefing covers basics like a general intro on Open Graph, how and on which social channels stories get displayed, best practices for designing actions and increasing the visibility of stories. As bonus, we’ve added some spicy real-life insights (user-growth, distribution of Open Graph…) from our very own Last.fm Scrobbler. The briefing isn’t strictly aimed at developers, but should rather be useful for anybody integrating with Facebook platform.
You can find more slides of Die Socialisten – including our current portfolio of Open Graph-Apps – on our Slideshare-account. As with everything we do, we’ld love to hear your feedback on this material!
